Transform any space with Optoma’s new app: Projection Mapper

Businesses, DJs, party planners and anyone with a smart device can now transform any space with Optoma’s ingenious new app; Projection Mapper.

This innovative and intuitive app can be used to beam multiple images and video onto 3D surfaces to create digital art – known as projection mapping.  And you don’t have to be a projection expert to use it!

Projection Mapper will project onto any surface in a home, retail outlet, party venue or event to completely transform the look and feel of the space and get the same engaging experience as you see at large events.

The app is designed for use with a digital projector and is compatible with Android, iOS and Amazon Kindle Fire devices. It is available for download on the App Store, Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.

Joe Ahmed, Head of Marketing at Optoma EMEA, commented: “We‘re incredibly excited to launch Projection Mapper which allows people to get even more from their projector. This app brings the engaging and unique experience of projection mapping to the masses via an affordable and extremely intuitive app tool”

Projection Mapper will work with any projector that can be connected to a smart device – using a compatible cable or wirelessly with a streaming dongle. And it can be used across multiple devices from smartphones to tablets.

Joe added: “Optoma is proud to be leading the way with this innovative development that can bring real value to adopters of our technologies.”

The user-friendly interface makes it simple for absolutely anyone looking to achieve a professional result. A free content pack with multiple images and videos is included. Additional themed content packs can be purchased or users can use their own images and video content.
