Optoma introduces the stylish DX330 XGA Projector

London March 2013 – Optoma has launched the DX330 lightweight and portable XGA (1024 x 768) resolution projector, the latest in a long line of award winning portable projectors. Designed with the classroom or meeting room in mind the DX330 benefits from the latest DLP projection advances to give a stunning 2800 ANSI Lumens of brightness.

Continued technology developments have led to a significant increase in lamp-life for the DX330 which now offers up to 10000 hours lamp-life, leading to a more environmentally friendly projector with lower running costs. The DX330 features an industry leading <0.5W standby mode and a range of energy saving Eco+ modes that make the DX330 one of the most economical projectors ever from Optoma.

The DX330 has substantially improved contrast ratio of 13000:1 too, producing sharp detailed presentations and graphics when used in the boardroom or education environments.

“These projectors are equally at home when used with whiteboards or for that important business presentation. The use of DarkChip3 technology and “Dynamic Mode” mean that every frame receives precisely the correct amount of light output from the lamp, ensuring the very best picture whilst saving you money.” said Optoma’s Head of Product Management, Justin Halls.

To ensure that the image is truly life-like, Optoma has included Texas Instruments BrilliantColor™ technology ensuring that colours are vivid even when images are projected at maximum size. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its image colour quality that it is guaranteed for five years.

Connectivity is straightforward, laptops, PCs and even entertainment systems are all catered for with an extensive set of inputs and outputs including HDMI 1.4a meaning the DX330 supports Full 3D. The DX330 features full compatibility with the AMX Dynamic Discovery protocols and an extensive RS232 command set makes controlling the projector straightforward.
