HD30 1600 ANSI Lumen 1080p Full 3D Home Cinema Projector with SRS WOW HD Audio sound launched by Optoma

London, March 2013 – Optoma today launched the HD30, a Full HD 1080p home cinema projector capable of the highest quality cinematic images. The new projector is designed with the home cinema enthusiast in mind and is supplied with two pairs of the very latest 3D glasses as standard.

Every HD30 includes in the box the 3D ZF2100 system emitter and two pairs of 3D wireless glasses. The Optoma ZF2100 system and glasses were developed in tandem with the HD30 to ensure that the 3D experience is trouble-free. Issues of emitter placement, limited range and interference that can be experienced by some other systems have been all but eradicated. The system is fully re-chargeable and provides a seamless 3D experience, leaving viewers free to enjoy the fully immersive 3D experience that only a projector can provide.

To complete the experience, Optoma has included some of the very latest high performance audio technology. SRS WOW HD™ surround sound audio processing is built-in and can be fully experienced via the 16 Watts of stereo speakers. Audio from the HD30 is more natural and has a wider sound field than conventional sound. Deep, rich, bass response helps to accentuate action sequences whilst stereo enhancement improves fuller dynamic range. Of course the HD30 includes standard audio outputs for connecting to conventional audio systems, although most users may find that they never need to use them.

Justin Halls, Head of Product Management at Optoma Europe commented, “HD30 represents the very best solution for any 3D cinema and gaming aficionado. Not only have we included the very latest 3D wireless technology, but we’ve added two pairs of glasses in the box too. We’ve made the audio experience exceptional without recourse to setting up external audio. Colour rendition and stunning cinematic picture performance and fantastic sound is available straight out of the box.”

The HD30 features Dynamic Black contrast technology to adjust lamp output automatically for each frame leading to a contrast ratio of 25,000:1 and a new level of colour performance and control. The HD30 incorporates BrilliantColor™ multi-colour processing technology to bring stunning, vibrant colour to your screen. BrilliantColor™ increases colour brightness by up to 50% over other technologies to create vibrant, true to life images.

The HD30 has a full range of analogue and digital inputs, including 2 x HDMI (v1.4a 3D) connectivity to the latest digital entertainment devices such as Blu-ray ™ players and gaming consoles is simple and straightforward.
