Optoma launches new 3D active glasses

Optoma has announced the availability of its latest-generation 3D active ZF2300 glasses. Designed for use with Optoma’s Full 3D 1080p home range, the new 3D glasses are lightweight and stylish so they can be worn for multiple hours at a time. This means live sports, TV and movies can be enjoyed in stunning 3D making you feel part of the action.

Advanced active 3D technology

The new glasses sync with any Optoma Full 3D projector with a 3D-sync port using a radio frequency (RF) signal, for uninterrupted 3D viewing. These wireless 3D glasses provide improved contrast and brightness for immersive Full HD 1080p clarity and phenomenal 3D picture quality.

Lightweight, comfortable design

Optoma’s stylish and lightweight design ensures comfort so they can be worn during a long movie or game. Each pair of 3D glasses is adjustable and will fit over almost any prescription glasses.

Long battery life and fully rechargeable

The fully rechargeable ZF2300 wireless 3D glasses offer extended viewing with a long battery life of up to 60 hours.

Bright high contrast images

Developed in parallel with Optoma’s latest Full 3D projectors, the ZF2300 glasses are optimised to provide higher contrast and brighter images than ever before. With vivid colours, the 3D action literally jumps out of the screen for realistic depth and perspective. Support for 144Hz rapid refresh rate provides ultra-smooth flicker free images.

Optoma’s Head of Product Marketing, Justin Halls, said: “3D entertainment comes alive with the new high specification ZF2300 glasses. Wireless RF technology provides seamless 3D viewing to bring the ultimate big-screen experience straight to the home.”
