Optoma unveils new audio range at ISE 2015

and reveals its 1080p ultra short throw projector

Optoma, award-winning projector brand, will showcase its new audio and projection products at ISE 2015. Visitors to the stand (1-F70) will be among the first in Europe to see and hear Optoma’s NuForce range of consumer audio products and will experience unique projection demonstrations from across the range.

This year, Optoma’s demonstrations will be organised into three zones: home; business and education; and ProScene solutions. Demonstrations not to miss include:

  • NuForce audio range
  • New 1080p ultra short throw interactive projector
  • Commercial grade racing car simulator with six metre immersive screen
  • Innovative retail projection solutions

Everything in Full HD

Optoma has one of the most extensive 1080p projector product ranges. At the 2015 event, virtually every demonstration on the Optoma stand will be in glorious Full HD resolution.

Len Carlton, Managing Director of Optoma EMEA, said: “When purchasing a high quality 1080p projector model, where typically image quality, including colour performance and contrast are important criteria, the vast majority of buyers choose a DLP based projector over those based on three LCD technology.”

According to market data organisation PMA, 80% of all 1080p projectors sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa in Q2 and Q3 last year used DLP technology.

Home zone

Optoma’s new NuForce audio range will be officially launched in the home zone. It will also showcase its latest 1080p home projectors designed for lights-on entertainment.

NuForce is already known for its clean design and superior sound. The new streamlined audio range comprises three main categories: home cinema, home stereo and mobile.

The home cinema range complements Optoma’s home projectors. These products are engineered for audio purists and include a digital AV preamp and two high power multi-channel amps.

Its home stereo products include a digital to analogue converter (DAC), power amps, integrated amps, a headphone amp and a Bluetooth receiver.

The mobile range includes a series of high quality earphones including the award-winning Primo8 earphones and the super-small uDAC3 mobile USB DAC.

There will be live demonstrations of Optoma’s award-winning home cinema projector; HD50 and popular short throw gaming projector, the GT1080.

Created for movie fans, Optoma’s HD50 brings digital cinema quality images into the comfort of the home. Using advanced processing it eliminates motion blurring or image judder, even in high-speed action packed movies and sport.

Optoma’s GT1080 can throw a 100-inch picture on a screen or wall from just over a metre away. This MHL-enabled projector can be used to play games, stream videos and share images on the big screen in Full HD while simultaneously charging a connected smartphone or tablet - all with a single cable.

Business and education zone

Top of the bill in this zone is the new 1080p ultra short throw interactive projector, the EH320UST. This uses a new generation of finger-touch interactive technology, enabling several people to work simultaneously on the screen without using a pen. Launching with a completely new mounting system and intuitive interactive setup, this system promises fast and simple setup with virtually no maintenance or calibration.

Also being demonstrated in this zone is the EH415ST, a new cost effective, Full HD, short throw projector with dual HDMI inputs.

Optoma will also show a new concept; lamp-less, super-wide, ultra short throw interactive projector with an aspect ratio of 2.6:1 enabling two full resolution 4:3 images to be simultaneously displayed side-by-side.

ProScene solution zone

The ProScene solutions zone will feature an eleven metre wide, high resolution edge-blend using eight 7,000 lumen Optoma EH7700 ProScene projectors, two Optoma Chameleon GB-200 blend and warp processors and Green Hippo’s Hippotizer HD processor. Content for this feature has been produced by AV3 Media. The ProScene team will be on hand to give advice on the features and capabilities of these models.

Projection Artworks, Vesaro, Green Hippo, Tensator and AV3 Media will join Optoma at ISE 2015 to demonstrate the connectivity and creativity capabilities of Optoma’s projectors.

Optoma’s Head of Product Marketing, Justin Halls, said: “We invited these companies to join us as they are market leaders in their fields. This means we can offer some of the most exciting and innovative projection solutions, which we’ll be showcasing on our stand at ISE 2015”.

DisplayMapper

DisplayMapper will showcase a range of new point-of-sale solutions demonstrating its dynamic new retail display technology, which facilitates daylight visible projection mapping displays with cloud control. The demos, which have all been used in commercial environments and include examples of footwear and mobile phone setups, will incorporate a range of Optoma’s 1080p standard and short-throw projectors.

Green Hippo

Green Hippo specialises in playback and display solutions such with Hippotizer Media servers and AViary video tools. The Hippotizer HD will be used to show projection mapping onto various large irregular shaped 3D objects at the event, using Optoma projectors.

Vesaro

Visitors to the stand will be able to test drive a truly modular, commercial grade racing car simulator, the Vesaro Stage 10 Pro. This simulator includes cutting edge six-inch motion technology, which takes the range of movement to a new level of extreme realism. It will be combined with a huge six metre wide curved screen created using three Optoma EH200ST projectors and two Optoma Chameleon GB200 blend and warp processors.

Tensator

A next generation digital signage solution from Tensator will also be included in the ProScene solutions zone. This virtual assistant uses cutting edge technology along with an Optoma projector built-into the unit to project an image and create the illusion of a real person, acting as an interactive informational and instructional tool.

Experts from Optoma’s Product Management team and European Sales regions will be on hand to provide technical knowledge, one-to-one demonstrations and sales support.

ISE 2015 takes place from 10th to 12th February 2015 at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam. The Optoma stand can be found in Hall 1, stand 1-F70. Use the code 705254 to receive your free entry ticket: https://www.iseurope.org
