Beam images from a short distance with Optoma’s new ultra-portable LED projector

Optoma has unveiled its latest addition to the ultra-portable LED projector range. The new ML750ST, builds upon the popular ML750e but has been engineered with a short throw lens to make it even more flexible for meetings and presentations on-the-go.

Optoma’s Head of Product Marketing, Justin Halls, said: “Unlike conventional projectors, the short throw lens means it isn’t projecting across the room so users don’t have to worry about shadows being cast from people standing in front of the projector.”

Weighing just 420g, it has all the same features as the tiny ML750e including a media player, native office viewer and built-in speaker.

HDMI input enables connection to the latest laptops, PCs, games consoles or Blu-ray™ players. Microsoft Office, Adobe PDFs, photos, videos and audio files can be projected directly from the built-in memory, microSD card slot and USB connection. This makes presentations without a laptop straightforward.

The Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology allows users to leave the laptop at home and display content directly from an MHL-enabled mobile phone or tablet.

With instant power on/off LED technology, the ML750ST is primed for instant plug-and-play viewing on the move. And the extraordinary life of LEDs (20,000 hours) will ensure it stays clear and bright.

Digital signage applications are ideal for the ML750ST as the projector can be mounted in virtually any orientation and it can play video files directly from a microSD card as soon as the projector is switched on.

Measuring just 112.5 x 123 x 57mm (W x D x H), the compact ML750ST is ideal for wireless presentations from a laptop or mobile device using the free App: ‘HDCast Pro’. Available on Android, iOS devices, Windows and Mac OS, this app provides the freedom to wirelessly share and present Microsoft Office and Adobe PDFs, photos or videos. And the device’s camera effectively turns it into a document camera for a more collaborative experience.

The ML750ST will be available in the New Year. Simply register your details to be among the first to know when you can get your hands on one: https://www.optoma.eu/euML750ST.aspx
