Optoma launches extremely bright 5000 ANSI Lumens XGA projector with Crestron RoomView™ support.

London, February 2012–Worldwide leader in the DLP projector market, Optoma today announces EX784 XGA projector for large venue and conference rooms.

Further developing the Optoma range of projectors for large venue and conference rooms the latest high brightness Optoma EX784 produces a market leading 5000 ANSI Lumens. The EX784 projector combines impressive image quality and performance with an outstanding specification including a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels to produce astonishing detail and clarity from a single projector.

Optoma has designed a projector that incorporates a Texas Instruments Dark Chip 3™ technology DMD chip capable of fully exploiting the latest BrilliantColor™ enhancements. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that bright colours and fantastic image quality are guaranteed for 5 years after purchase.

Once installed, these projectors are easily managed. Optoma offers Crestron Roomview ™ compatibility, a custom configurable interface to monitor, manage and control every device in every room remotely via a network. In addition the EX784 includes Dynamic Device Discovery AMX protocol for easy installation in AMX control systems.

A full set of connections including an audio capable HDMI port, VGA loop-through and dedicated component video inputs ensure that the EX784 will perform perfectly in almost any multimedia situation.

In ECO mode, the EX784 lamp has an outstanding life of 3000 hours, lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) and coupled with our “filter-free design” ensures virtually free maintenance and reduced ownership costs.
