Optoma launches new high brightness laser ultra short throw projector – ZH420UST

Optoma has just launched a new high brightness laser ultra short throw projector - ZH420UST. Building on the ZH400UST, this new model is powered by DuraCore laser light source and in addition offers advanced installation features to include HDBaseT, four corner correction and built-in edge blending and warping - ideal for leisure and hospitality venues.

James Fursse, Product Manager at Optoma Europe, commented: “The ZH420UST is the first Full HD 1080p ultra short throw projector with built-in edge blending and warping adjustments, combining flexibility, reliability and incredible performance. Its vast capabilities for professional installations make this model the perfect solution for museums, zoos, sports stadiums and even nightclubs.”

The ZH420UST comes with the added benefit of four corner geometric adjustment allowing for quick and accurate installation, ideal for uneven walls or where a projector placement is awkward and needs to be installed at an angle.

With versatile installation, images can be projected downwards and sideways in ‘portrait mode’. This means the projector can be operated on its side, to produce a tall, thin image. The versatility of the projector makes it perfect for digital signage applications.

For large-scale projection, the ZH420UST features built-in edge-blending and warping. Additionally, an HDBaseT input is included to simplify cabling requirements and reduce installation complexity, saving time and reducing costs.

Optoma’s DuraCore laser range champions an industry-leading laser light source delivering a minimum of 20,000 hours in full brightness mode. The ZH420UST has been independently tested and certified with a dust resistance IP5X rating. Outstanding resistance to dust in combination with exceptional brightness ensures industry leading durability; paramount for 24/7 maintenance free operation in challenging environments.

Equipped with 114% Rec709 colour gamut coverage, it delivers superb colour accuracy resulting in eye-catching content and bright lifelike images to engage and capture the interest of any audience.
