Optoma will be showcasing its full range of home models including a new 4K UHD laser projector and the award winning 4K UHD and Darbee projectors on stand 119, hall 25 at the renowned consumer technology tradeshow IFA in Berlin.

Visitors to the event on 1-6 September 2017 at the Messe Berlin will be among the first to see these new projectors in action along with the latest audio products from its NuForce range to include the new true wireless in-ear headphones.

Thierry Millet, Managing Director of Optoma EMEA, said: “IFA is an important platform for Optoma to showcase our latest developments in home projection and audio technology. We are extremely excited to demonstrate our new product line-up, designed for use in any living space or on-the-go.”

Optoma will showcase its new range of high quality and versatile home projectors to include the new 4K UHD resolution laser, the UHZ65 and recently launched UHD65 and UHD60 along with its range of 1080p models featuring DARBEE Visual Presence™ technology - GT1080Darbee, HD29Darbee and the most recent HD39Darbee.

Created for movie fans, the new Optoma UHD65 and UHD60 projectors bring content to life, combining true 4K UHD for the ultimate in image quality with excellent colour depth, crystal clear detail, and sparkling contrast for a stunningly immersive experience.

The UHD65 also boasts sophisticated PureMotion frame-interpolation technology. This advanced processing eliminates motion blur or image judder, even in high-speed action films or fast-paced sports.

Exclusive to Optoma projectors, Integrated DARBEE Visual Presence™ image enhancement technology brings revolutionary levels of depth and realism to the images. The Optoma Darbee range includes:

  • GT1080Darbee short throw projector is the successor to the popular GT1080, offering 1080p resolution, Rec. 709 colour, dual HDMI ports, 3,000 lumens of brightness, and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio.
  • HD29Darbee is the next evolution of the multi-award winning HD28DSE home entertainment projector. With 3,200 lumens, this new model is brighter, smaller, and quieter - perfect for those that love to watch films, TV and sport or play action packed games without having to dim the lights.
  • HD39Darbee couples high-end home cinema performance with bright, vibrant visuals to produce a stunning Full HD 1080p viewing experience. Set-up is simple with a large 1.6x zoom range, vertical lens shift, an integrated speaker and two HDMI inputs.

Visitors will also be able to see the latest audio products from the highly acclaimed NuForce range – to include the soon to be launched BE2 wireless Bluetooth and BE Free8 true wireless in-ear headphones. Designed for smartphones that don’t include a headphone jack, both new models allow users to stay connected for non-stop listening on the go.

The BE2 Bluetooth in-ear headphones offer an incredible battery life of up to 10 hours. The lightweight, durable design and custom ear tips keep them securely in place. They are also IPX5 certified for greater protection from rain and sweat.

For true wireless freedom, the BE Free8 in-ear headphones have no cables or neckband for unrestricted movement at any time. The design is slick and modern, and the protective carry case doubles up as a charger.

IFA 2017 takes place from 1-6 September 2017 at the Messe Berlin. The Optoma stand can be found in hall 25, stand 119.
