Optoma receives award for achieving #1 EMEA DLP® Brand - High Brightness Projectors

Optoma, a leading international projector and audio brand, has received an award for achieving #1 EMEA DLP Brand - High Brightness Projectors.

Len Carlton, Managing Director or Optoma EMEA said: “We are really proud to receive the Outstanding Performance Award from Texas Instruments. We would like to thank our partners for helping us to achieve this.”

The award is based on the total number of DLP projectors sold with a brightness rating of 4,000 ANSI lumens or above – at any resolution. According to PMA Research, the worldwide market data experts on projectors, Optoma increased its dominance of the DLP high brightness projector sector ahead of Christie, Panasonic, NEC and BenQ with an overall EMEA market share of 21.9 percent for 2015, climbing to 22.8 percent in Q1 of this year.

Optoma has over 50 models in its range of high brightness projectors which are designed for a multitude of professional applications - from a classroom or office space to more complex/ demanding AV installations such as auditoriums, museums, retail environments and other large venues. Building on the impressive high brightness market share and committed to the leading technologies that their high brightness customers require, Optoma is set to announce a slew of high brightness laser and 4K projector models later this year.

Optoma projectors use DLP technology pioneered by Texas Instruments. DLP technology is the overwhelming choice for high brightness high resolution applications and is chosen for over 80% of installations (PMA 1080P/WUXGA, 7K+ lumens 2015).
