Optoma expands into rental market with new QUADShow solution for the award-winning FHDQ130

Optoma has expanded its LED display range with the addition of a complete custom solution for the indoor rental market – QUADShow. The QUADShow is an all-in-one motorised lift and transport system for mobile use of the award-winning Optoma FHDQ130 – 130-inch Full HD 1080p LED display with a 1.5mm pixel pitch.

The QUADShow ensures complete protection of the FHDQ130 within the easily movable flight case which fits through standard sized doorways. Its plug and play design means it can be ready for any event in just a few minutes. For added flexibility the built-in display stand features height adjustment and the FHDQ130 can be positioned in landscape or portrait mode.

Thierry Millet, Managing Director of Optoma EMEA, said: “The new QUADShow solution is a game changer for LED display rental market. It provides an instant large display solution without the need for technicians as the simple set-up process eliminates the complexity of a traditional LED build. This not only dramatically reduces installation time from multiple days to just a few minutes, but more importantly, cuts the total project cost for AV installers and rental companies.”

Since its launch at ISE 2019, the FHDQ130 QUAD LED display has won multiple industry awards to include: two ‘Best of Show’ awards at InfoComm 2019 by Rental & Staging Systems and Digital Signage Magazine. And ‘Best of Show’ award at ISE 2019 by Installation magazine.

Thierry Millet continued: “We feel privileged to win these industry-renowned awards for our FHDQ130. And the QUADShow further strengthens our expanding range of large display solutions that meet the needs of both our existing and new customers and partners.”

The FHDQ130 produces an impressive image with incredible depth of colour and detail. It pioneers a unique 4-in-1 Surface Mount Diode layout, with the LED diodes set in clusters of four. This not only creates a smoother screen surface for a better image quality and wide viewing angle, but also makes the design more robust with individual diodes less likely to get damaged during installation and use.

Pre-calibrated out-of-the-box, the FHDQ130 removes the hassle of managing software and the various associated files, while ensuring the image is optimised for immediate use. Integrated HQUltra and media player technology eliminates the need for any additional separate devices associated with traditional LED solutions and provides additional features such as Picture in Picture.  It also ensures that whatever device or content is plugged into the display, it will automatically scale it to present perfectly.

With a range of connectivity and control options including dual HDMI, USB, RS232 and HDBaseT, the display is designed to be easy to operate and can be networked. It can also be connected to a smart phone or tablet using Optoma’s Connect Q application.

The ability to control the display from a central control system and its eco-friendly ErP compliant <0.5W standby mode saves energy costs through reduced power consumption.
