Optoma expands laser range with the new short throw ZW310STe and ZX310STe projectors

Optoma has just launched two new laser projectors, the ZW310STe and ZX310STe. The new models boast a brightness rating of 3600 and 3500 ANSI lumens respectively and short throw lens for a super-sized 100-inch picture on a screen or wall from just over a metre away. This makes them perfect for superior quality imagery in classrooms, small meeting rooms or training rooms.

Powered by a long-lasting, low maintenance laser light source, the widescreen (ZW310STe) and XGA (ZX310STe) models offer a cost-effective solution to businesses, schools and colleges.

The new projectors can be managed and monitored easily over a network via the RJ45. Compatible Crestron RoomView® software can be used to power on/off, monitor, manage and control up to 250 projectors at the same time from any computer. This allows IT technicians to monitor and turn off the projectors remotely.

A short throw ratio means a 100” image can be projected from just over a metre away. Having the projector installed closer to the screen avoids any shadows being cast across the screen from the presenter(s).

These bright projectors are extremely flexible with easy installation or presentations on the move using the optional carry bag. They provide a complete package with many features, including two HDMI inputs, a powerful 10W built-in speaker and Full 3D technology.

In addition, both models support 24/7 operation and versatile orientation, making them suitable for vertical applications such as signage solutions in shop windows or retail displays where space or accessibility can be limited.
