Optoma expands laser projector range with the new ZW300USTe and ZW300USTie

Optoma has just launched two new ultra-short throw laser projectors, the ZW300USTe and ZW300USTie. Both models boast WXGA resolution and a high brightness at 3,500 ANSI lumens. The ZW300USTie also incorporates TouchBeam finger-touch interactive technology, enabling several people to work simultaneously on the screen without using a pen.

Powered by long-lasting, low maintenance laser light source, the ZW300USTe and ZW300USTie offer a cost-effective solution to businesses, schools and colleges.

A throw ratio of 0.27:1 means a 100” image can be projected from just 55cm away. Having the projector installed so close to the screen avoids any shadows being cast across the screen from the presenter(s).

Both models provide a complete package with many new features, including two HDMI inputs, a built-in media player, optional wireless, a powered USB port and a powerful 10W built-in speaker in a compact chassis.

In addition, both models support 24/7 operation and versatile orientation, making them suitable for vertical applications such as signage solutions in shop windows or retail displays where space or accessibility can be limited.

ZW300USTe and ZW300USTie key features

  • Maintenance-free laser light source - 20,000 hours at full brightness
  • Ultra-short throw lens - 100" image from less than half a metre away
  • Bright WXGA - 3500 ANSI lumens
  • TouchBeam finger-touch interactive technology (ZW300USTie only)
