Job Description

​Following Optoma’s ongoing strategic expansion, we are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team. The role will encompass all aspects of product lifecycle, from cradle to grave. A successful candidate will possess a proactive mentality, and an ability drive and support sales teams in a business development, technical and product management capacity.

  • Champion our display offering among the Optoma EMEA organisation and externally
  • Define and develop product requirements in line with HQ development teams and external suppliers
  • Lead role in development and approval of product offerings and new technologies
  • Regular interaction with Commercial PM, ensuring marketing support to promote product throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Key contact in pre-sales / post-sales service and support process. (ProDesign service)
  • Identify and execute strategies to grow and commercialise our local service & support packages.
  • Educate and train internal stakeholders and technical heads, working with the EMEA Product trainer.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, both domestic and foreign
  • Provide regular executive reporting
  • Point of contact for EMEA ad-hoc projects and sales company support.
  • Support of key EMEA events

  • Team player who is driven, adaptable and dynamic
  • Bachelor degree level qualification
  • Strong experience with LED displays technology
  • Technically and numerically astute
  • Negotiation / influencing and relationship Skills
  • Problem Solving & organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work across broad territories and across cultures
  • Hands-on experience of customer installation challenges
  • Willingness to travel / be on site where required supporting installation
  • European or Mandarin language is a plus
