Optoma presents stunning line-up at BETT 2012

Optoma demonstrates commitment to education with full line-up at Europe’s foremost education show

London, 9th January 2012 – BETT 2012, perhaps the most important trade-fair in the educational audio/visual calendar, will see Optoma once again reaffirming their total commitment to education with substantial representation on several partner stands.

Optoma invites visitors to experience a live demonstration of the interactive Ultra Short Throw projectors which will feature on several stands. A 3D solution will be fully demonstrated using the EX785 showing the full capability of 3D in an education environment. The future of lamp-free projection, a Laser and LED Hybrid, the ZW210ST will preview at BETT 2012 representing the next generation of projector technology. The Optoma visualiser DC300i will also be present, confirming the Optoma commitment to a range of educational products.

Interactive Ultra Short Throw (UST) Projection

Providing solutions for education requirements, BETT 2012 will feature Optoma Ultra Short Throw interactive projectors in a simulated educational environment. Capable of producing a 60” image from just 39cm away in native WXGA mode, Optoma Ultra Short Throw projectors will feature in a live demonstration of the Qwizdom Wizteach educational software. With up to 3200 lumens of brightness these projectors are capable of displaying rich, colourful, crystal clear images required for the education market in both 2D and 3D.

Czech distributor Triumph Board will demonstrate the Optoma EW675UTi on a wall mount emphasising their commitment to using Optoma products with their proprietary whiteboards. Dedicated to the education market Triumph Board products are created to enhance presentation effectiveness, whether in a learning, corporate or commercial environment.

EX785 with Short Throw Lens Option 3D in Education Demonstration

ZW210ST – LED/Laser Hybrid Projector

The new Optoma lamp-free hybrid projector packs serious performance into a sub 3kg projector with an expected brightness of 2000 Lumens. The short throw lens displays a 60” image from only 68cm away making it ideal for classrooms where space can be limited.

The new hybrid eliminates expensive lamp replacements while using less than 0.5W in standby mode. The ZW210ST is both environmentally friendly and cost effective and ideally suited to the education marketplace. The ZW210ST will feature on the Texas Instruments stand.

DC300i Visualiser Builds on Optoma Projection Specialism

Aimed squarely at the education and presentation sectors, the DC300i uses a 1/3” CMOS sensor to output in both SXGA and XGA resolution. The DC300i produces high quality images in either still or video formats and is easily connected to a projector via the industry standard VGA D-sub connector. The DC300i can be seen at the Stone Group stand.
