Optoma launches battery-powered pocket projector - LV130

Optoma has just launched a new battery-powered pocket LED projector for cordless operation - the LV130. Designed for use on the go, the petite projector makes portable projection even more affordable and is small and compact so fits easily into a bag or backpack.

Kishan Mistry, Senior Product Manager at Optoma EMEA, said: “The new LV130 delivers an impressive 80-inch image with its 300 LED brightness. It’s an incredible all-rounder, combining a quick and easy set-up, instant on/off and an integrated speaker in a tiny chassis for the ultimate convenience.”

Its integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 4.5 hours of cable-free projection time on a single charge – perfect for movies on the go or impromptu meetings. Its battery can also be used to charge a mobile device. A built-in speaker outputs crisp audio and simplifies the experience.

Set-up is simple with a HDMI port which supports MHL – perfect for connecting to laptops, mobile devices and games consoles. The USB port can power wireless streaming video devices for easy connectivity. There's also a mini jack audio output for connection to external speakers.

The LED light source provides up to 30,000 hours of life for maximum dependability while a 100,000:1 contrast ratio ensures deep black levels.

Weighing just 400g, the stylish LV130 can be used in any space or taken to friends with the included carry bag for a sports event, movie night or games marathon.
